Via Splashlife.com: Miguel Jontel Pimentel, 25, an American singer and songwriter, has toured with Usher and Mary J. Blige and is known for incorporating rock, R&B, hip-hop, and electronic elements into his music. The artist began his musical life by singing Michael Jackson tunes in his house at the age of 5. But he realized when he first began writing songs that he wanted to take his passion for music in a different direction. So he linked up with Mark Pitts, the president of Jive, after Pitts heard a record that Miguel had privately made for his girlfriend at the time.
