The new era begins. Moments before the live “American Idol” results show, Mariah Carey surprised her Lambs by debuting a teaser for her new single “Beautiful” featuring Miguel. The song will be available on May 6, while the video was directed by Joseph Kahn.

Beyoncé and Nine Inch Nails top an eclectic lineup for Budweiser’s second annual Made In America Festival, scheduled to return to Philadelphia for Labor Day weekend on Aug. 31 and Sept. 1. Jay-Z once again curated this year’s roster, but will not perform unlike last year’s headlining set. Tickets went on sale Wednesday to American Express cardmembers and fans of the Budweiser Made In America Facebook page exclusively through Tuesday April 16 at 10 p.m. ET. Public on sale begins Wednesday April 17.

Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber will hit the stage at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on May 19.

Billboard announced Wednesday that Bruno Mars and R&B singer Miguel will also perform at the awards show. Those acts are finalists for the milestone award, a new honor presented to an act who has achieved a landmark on the Billboard charts in the last year.

Prince will receive the icon award at the show, to air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on ABC at 8 p.m. Eastern.

Online voting is open for the milestone award and will be narrowed to three finalists later this month.

Get ready for another round. Miguel has enlisted hip-hop’s man of the moment, Kendrick Lamar, for the remix to his new single “How Many Drinks?”

“How many Drinks ft. @KendrickLamar. Coming soon. #lakings #laallday,” tweeted Miguel, who shot a video for the Kaleidoscope Dream cut with Kendrick this week in L.A.

The Grammy-winning singer is currently opening for Alicia Keys on her “Set the World on Fire” tour, which wraps its U.S. leg on April 18.

Justin Timberlake wowed with his performance on “SNL” and now another crooner is headed to 30 Rock. Miguel will perform for the first time on the late-night show next month.

The Grammy-winning singer will serve as musical guest on the April 13 episode of “SNL,” with host Vince Vaughn.

“SNL” made the official announcement today. “Excited to say #VinceVaughn is returning to host #SNL with first-time musical guest, @MiguelUnlimited on April 13th!!” tweeted NBC.

It’s unknown what exactly he will perform, but he is promoting his latest single “How Many Drinks?” off his critically-acclaimed sophomore album Kaleidoscope Dream.

Miguel is currently opening for Alicia Keys on her “Set the World on Fire” tour, which wraps its U.S. leg in April before traveling overseas.

After playing the Grammys and the Hollywood Palladium, Miguel will be performing at the Wireless Festival 2013 in London this summer. He will be performing on both Friday and Saturday, July 12th and 13th.
